[00:51:46] Dan: they aren't checking 'refrences' they aren't even reading them most likely
[00:52:03] Dan: you get the first three pages by a free intern and then it gets tossed
[00:52:19] Dan: I might self publish and then do a self book tour
[00:52:22] Dan: but first thing is first
[00:52:26] ruiner: do you think you're good enough or prolific enough to make a living off of writing?
[00:52:26] Dan: I have to write the book

[00:53:03] Dan: so writing the book is the important part
[00:53:12] Dan: selling it will come next
[00:53:50] Dan: but I think if I had a book in my hand and went door to door with it I could make enough to live off of. and that would make me happy
